ACC Background:
The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) was developed in the original documents of Huntington Park Estates Homeowners' Association in 1978. The original documents state that any new building or any change to an existing property that materially changes the exterior appearance must be approved by the ACC before that project begins.
Any resident that is planning a change to the exterior of their property must submit an “Exterior Change Application” to the ACC for review. During review, the ACC will reference the ACC Exterior Change Guidelines that were established by the ACC Committee and the HPE Board of Trustees (see Guidelines below). These guidelines were developed based on the original documents. Depending on that review, the ACC will approve the application if it meets the guidelines or reject the application if it does not. The ACC will provide appropriate feedback regarding your application. The ACC meets regularly to ensure timely responses.
